OC Fall Youth Athletic Programming
Join in on the fun each Fall with the OC. We’ve got Field Hockey, Flag Football, and Soccer at Woodward Park. Our Fall seasons starts in late-August and runs through October. Participation levels vary depending on sport (see below for more details).
Registration for the OC Fall youth athletic season is now closed, we look forward to a fantastic Fall at the Park.
OC Members receive 40% off all youth sport season registrations, this discount will be automatically applied at checkout.
Membership must be purchased prior to registering for sport season to receive discount.

Field Hockey

Field Hockey Levels
Kinder Program
- $54 members, $90 non-members | One practice per week
1st/2nd Program
- $54 members, $90 non-members | Two practices per week
3rd/4th Grade
- $90 members, $150 non-members | Two practices per week & games on weekends
5th/6th Grade
- $90 members, $150 non-members | Two practices per week & games on weeknights & weekends

Flag Football
Welcome to the 2024 Flag Football Season!
Open to students in grades K-6.
Participants may choose from 3 levels of play this year to best suite their schedules!

Flag Football Levels
Level 1: Grades K-2 | Practices Saturdays 10:30-11:30am at Woodward Park
- Get to know Flag Football with these fun, introductory sessions at the Park
Level 2: Grades 3-5 | Practices Mondays 3:30-4:30pm at the New London Town Green
- Enjoy learning the fundamentals of Flag Football each Monday – sessions will include games, scrimmages & fun!
- Grades 3-5 will meet the Director of the New London Recreation Dept. at KRES-New London and walk up to the New London Town Green for practice.
Level 3: Grades 3-6 | Practices Tuesdays + Thursdays TBD
- New to the Outing Club this Fall! Did you enjoy weekly flag football last year but want a more competitive setting or to play more than once a week? This program is perfect, enjoy two practices weekly plus weekend games.

OC Youth Soccer
The Outing Club 3-6th grade soccer programs compete in the Merrimack Valley Soccer League.” Links to season schedules and League rules can be found here.

Coed Pre-Kindergarten
- $54 members, $90 non-members | Practices Saturday mornings 8:30-9:15am
Coed Kindergarten
- $54 members, $90 non-members | Practices Saturday mornings 9:30-10:30am
Coed 1st/2nd Co-Ed
- $75 members, $125 non-members | Practices Tue/ + Thursday 5-6pm | Games Saturday 9am
Boys & Girls 3rd/4th Grade
- $90 members, $150 non-members | Practices two times per week | Games Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons
Boys & Girls 5th/6th Grade
- $90 members, $150 non-members | Practices two times per week | Games weeknights and Saturday afternoons
