OC Spring Youth Athletic Programming

Get in the game each Spring with The Outing Club. We’ve got Coed Baseball, Coed Track & Field, and Girls and Boys Lacrosse. Our Spring seasons starts in April and runs through mid-June. Participation levels vary depending on sport (see below for more details).

OC Spring Youth Programming:

Baseball

Our coed baseball program offers fun and development for players from T-Ball through Majors. Whether your little leaguer is starting out and learning the fundamentals, or interested in taking their game to the next level, OC coed baseball offers the perfect opportunity for them to fall in love with the game.

OC Rookies

Majors Baseball Levels participate in the Kearsarge Valley Cal Rikpen Baseball League (KVCBL). The KVCBL mandates that participating teams be split evenly. There is no tiering within this League.

Registration for Spring 2025 Coed Youth Baseball will open in January 2025.

Track & Field

The Outing Club Track & Field program offers an introduction to the sport for student-athletes ages 7 – 13. Our program introduces participants to the long jump, relay, sprints, shot put & more! Practicing twice weekly at the Colby-Sawyer College Kelsey Athletic Complex Track, athletes can expect 3-4 meets per season. The season runs from April – June.

Student-athletes aged 9-13 are eligible to compete in the NH State Meet.

Registration for the 2025 Track & Field season will open in January of 2025.

Lacrosse

The Outing Club is proud to offer lacrosse for students in grades K – 6. Our K – 2 Lacrosse program is coed and focuses on a basic understanding of the game and fundamentals. Our 3-6 grade Boys & Girls programs participate in The Interstate Lacrosse Community.

The Interstate Lacrosse Community (ILC), is an association of local youth lacrosse programs conducted by various New Hampshire and Vermont town, school and private organizations that share common goals to:

  • Provide a fun, safe, instructional framework for youth lacrosse games.
  • Promote the goodwill and sportsmanship traditions of the game of lacrosse to honor community, family and players.
  • Provide a consistent set of game rules for youth to learn to play safely and to love lacrosse.
  • Provide scheduling opportunities for teams to play a season game schedule with other teams within a reasonable traveling distance.
  • Foster competitive play that emphasizes team and individual success measured by improving personal and team skills, hard work, hustle, character, sportsmanship, and respect for the game, all players, coaches and officials, rather than winning as the only or primary goal.

Our 3/4 & 5/6 Boys & Girls Lacrosse teams practice twice weekly and can generally expect one weeknight and one Saturday game. The season runs (weather-permitting) April – June.

2025 OC Lacrosse Registration will open in January 2025.
